Terms and Conditions of the TENDER are as follows:
1. Length of the Lease Agreement – The Landlord will entertain rental offer ranging from 1 to 5 crop years in length.
2. Bidder’s rental offer will be itemized by legal land description & any conditions of the offer must be clearly stated.
3. The highest, or any, rental offer will not necessarily be accepted.
4. Any crop unharvested or stored on the land may be harvested and removed from the land according to The Agricultural Leaseholds Act.
5. All offers must be received by the tender deadline 2 p.m. Thursday, April 3rd, 2025.
6. The Landlord acknowledges and accepts that the property manager WILL NOT inform or present the Landlord with any offers received until the TENDER has closed (date and time mention in term 5. Above).
7. Bidder is responsible to familiarize themselves with the farmland prior to submitting a bid.
8. The successful bidder must sign a formal Lease Agreement and submit a minimum of 50% of the annual rent within 14 days and of notification of the successful bid. Failure to enter into a Lease Agreement within the prescribed time will be deemed in default and will forfeit their rights to leasing the farmlands.
9. All annual irrigation fees will be the responsibility of the Landlord.
